These briefing papers on financing and coordination of health research from the Global Health Technologies Coalition (GHTC) provide examples and perspectives from nonprofit product development organizations. The GHTC has developed this series of briefing papers for policymakers and other stakeholders with an interest in advancing product development and introduction in low- and middle-income countries. Topics include financing research and development, increasing the affordability and availability of products, addressing regulatory challenges, and working to strengthen the capacity of local research partners and manufacturers.
