History
2022: Researchers publish preliminary in vitro, ex vivo, and in vivo testing results of a prototype PNL-loaded INV-based gel. Evaluation indicated that invasomes effectively entrap PNL, and that the gel produced a more sustained release than comparators. The gel consistently inhibited sperm motility and histopathological analysis confirmed local tolerability.
