The Future of the Modern Contraceptive Method Mix: Innovation in Contraceptive R&D Funding

 

FP2030 and the CTI Exchange, in partnership with Population Council, the Reproductive Health Supplies Coalition, and FHI 360, hosted a future-focused learning event on funding models and strategies for facilitating contraceptive research and development. Speakers presented both trends in funder focus and encouraging progress towards support of human-centered design, as well as innovative approaches to strengthening the contraceptive technology market through strategic investment. The event concluded with a structured conversation on the impact of funding decision-making on contraceptive research capability, followed by a Q&A with all presenters.
