Mentorship Resources
Supporting Emerging Leaders in Contraceptive Technology Innovation
Contraceptive R&D is an area that students and early-career researchers are often unaware of as a potential career path. As a result, there are very few contraceptive developers and researchers globally, particularly in low- and middle-income countries. Mentorship and youth engagement can help increase interest in, knowledge of, and opportunities to participate in the field of contraceptive R&D among students, young professionals, and early-career researchers.
As part of a previously funded program, the CTI Exchange aggregated and developed menstorship resources for those interested in this type of work, inlcuding guidance for conducting high-quality mentorship as well as discussion guides developed by the CTI Exchange that help mentors and mentees navigate one-on-one sessions together.
