History
2020: Researchers in Germany report findings from a Phase 1 (single-center, open-label, single-dose, parallel-group) trial conducted with 8 healthy female volunteers. The study results were determined to justify further development of the TMG-ring as progestogen-only contraceptive.
2021: A Brazilian research team publishes results from a Phase 1 clinical trial of an estriol and trimegestone combination ring.
