Featuring family planning (FP) experts from around the world, the new podcast series Inside the FP Story explores innovative approaches and solutions of family planning programs. Hosted by FP2030 and Knowledge SUCCESS, the podcast has been created in response to a desire for new ways to learn and share lessons and experiences among family planning and reproductive health professionals. In doing so, the podcast seeks to bridge the gap between the wealth of data in international family planning and how to successfully implement programs. Each season will focus on a different theme and showcase program implementers and decision makers from around the world on issues that matter to family planning programs.
The theme of Season one of Inside the FP Story is “Element of FP Success” and highlights the stories of four FP2020 countries that made substantial progress in their family planning goals. In this season, experts in Afghanistan, Kenya, Mozambique, and Senegal discuss the details of family planning programs, how to integrate family planning into other health sectors, and how COVID-19 has impacted service delivery. Each episode offers new insights into best practices, lessons learned, and the continued challenges of working to reduce the barriers that restrict access to family planning.
