Launch of the Contraceptive Infertility Target DataBase

The Contraceptive Infertility Target Database (CITDBase) is a curation of public databases for the purpose of providing a list of human reproductive system/tissue specific contraceptive targets for investigators working in the field. The goal of CITDBase is not only to identity potential contraceptive targets but, equally important, to foster collaborative efforts between investigators from different areas of contraceptive and infertility research. The long and challenging drug development process begins with discovery biology for the selection of an appropriate target for a specific indication. This new resource provides investigators an interface to mine existing transcriptomic and proteomic resources to identify high-quality contraceptive/infertility targets.

Access the CITDBase here and read an article from the database creators published in Biology of Reproduction here.
