Emerging Leaders in Contraceptive Technology Innovation is a mentorship program that matches graduate students and young professionals with leaders in the field for 6 months of virtual one-on-one and group mentoring sessions. These activities contribute to building the next generation of contraceptive researchers which will strengthen the overall contraceptive technology ecosystem
About the Program
Contraceptive R&D is an area that students and early-career researchers are often unaware of as a potential career path. As a result, there are very few contraceptive developers and researchers globally, particularly in low- and middle-income countries.
Mentorship and youth engagement can help increase interest in, knowledge of, and opportunities to participate in the field of contraceptive R&D among students, young professionals, and early-career researchers.
