The Initiative for MPTs (IMPT) hosts “Opportunities and Challenges for Long-Acting MPTs,” the second in a series of technical webinars focused on multi-purpose technologies (MPT). The hour-long program will take place on May 2, beginning at 11:00 AM EDT. The webinar will feature presentations from Dr. Charles Flexner of Johns Hopkins Medicine and Dr. Arnab Chatterjee of the California Institute for Biomedical Research (Calibr). Focused on the technical elements of MPT product development, the webinar is expected to launch a critical conversation around the feasibility and challenges of developing longer-acting MPTs as part of the contraceptive method mix.
