History

Meloxicam has been evaluated in combination with both Levonorgestrel and UPA to improve efficacy of pericoital methods. Most recent development, including 2018-2019 Phase I trial, led by Stanford. 
2022: Stanford publishes results of Phase I clinical evaluation, and indicates intention to pursue additional development.
