Contraline and Population Council Finalize Exclusive License for NES/T Gel

The Population Council and Contraline have executed a global, exclusive license for the Nestorone®/Testosterone (NES/T) male contraceptive gel, transitioning program leadership to Contraline. NES/T is a once‑daily topical hormonal gel designed to suppress sperm production while maintaining normal testosterone levels. According to the press release, a global Phase 2b trial in 462 couples has been completed. Contraline will lead late‑stage development, regulatory engagement, and planning for a pivotal Phase 3 program.
