Organon to License MIUDELLA®, a New Hormone‑Free Copper IUD
Organon has entered into an agreement to exclusively license global rights to MIUDELLA®, Sebela Pharmaceuticals’ hormone‑free copper intrauterine device (IUD). MIUDELLA® is the first hormone‑free copper IUD approved in the U.S. in 40 years, receiving FDA approval in February 2025 for pregnancy prevention for up to three years. The device features a flexible frame and a fully preloaded inserter with a small 3.7 mm insertion tube designed to support ease of placement.
